Case Study - Yeshivas Midrash Shmuel

Storytime:

The organisers of Midrash Shmuel approached us roughly 2 weeks before they had planned to do their massive multi-million dollar fundraiser, desperate for a video as they had nothing.

With no time to spare, we immediately came up with a few proposals for the video, giving insights into how the video we will be making isn't just going to be ‘a video’ like everyone else’s fundraiser, It was going to be able to evoke emotions from the people they are targeting - People with money not just your average Joe.

In order to evoke these emotions We had to sit down with them and really find out what their fundraiser & their cause is all about. Once we had discussed this, We came up with a few different options for styles of videos that we at VisionX can produce to evoke the right emotions from the target audience.

 

We immediately got to work, created a storyline, and then made questions for interviewees, for interviews, that would bring the story together.

 

The next step was filming everything that needed filming and collecting any pictures/videos from within the yeshiva’s database that can portray some of the points mentioned in the interviews (e.g. trips and events)

 

Once the filming had been completed, our Editing team got to work a week before the deadline, putting all their heart and soul into the editing process.

 

The fundraiser was in two days, and we finished before our deadline with a final edit that everyone loved!

 

The big day was finally here, and our team made sure to provide all the necessary deliverables, such as The main video (3-4 mins), smaller 30-second cuts for WhatsApp statuses, and other necessary graphics that came with the package they chose.

 

36 hours later! The Team was monitoring the progress of the fundraiser and was amazed by the number of large donations coming from our target audience in America! When the 36 Hour timer was up the Yeshiva had successfully raised over $50,000 more than they were aiming for!

 

We took their vision, and with our fabulous team and skillsets, we empowered that vision and unleashed it to the world in an ever-so-impactful way!
